The above build is missing a case and has a laptop HDD which will be dreadfully slow. You'll want a better cooler for the FX 6300 as the one it comes with is not good at all

What you're asking is basically impossible, you either need to cut back to an R7 265 or R9 270 or consider an Intel pentium G3258

The best I can do

I did miss the case. :(
I will argue that the 7200rpm laptop drive with 16mb of cache will be as swift as any larger drive with the same specs.

Rotation speed and cache aren't the only consideration. Laptop drives are almost always slower than desktops

It wouldn't bee too much of a difference though. I don't know why people obsess over the speed of their HDDs when it is such a small difference.

Agreed! It always amuses me on this forum that when you attempt to stay within(or close to) someone's budget, someone else slams the choices. Budget means making compromises. I would have wanted an SSD in this persons build but that would have put him woefully over budget. ;-)

No one suggested an SSD, just to include all the parts like the case and that a smaller capacity (250gb) desktop drive would perform better than a slightly larger laptop drive.

Don't take criticisms of the builds you post personally, everyone is just trying to help the OP get the most performance for their budget!
