Looking for a GPU upgrade!

I need a new graphics card for gaming my budget is $450-$500

Parts list:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 overclocked to 4.5 GHz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 612 evo
GPU: Asus R9 280 overclocked to 1160 MHz
PSU: Corsair 550 watt
RAM: Deliminator LP 16 GB DDR3
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R9.0
HDD: 1000gb
Case: Antec GX500 Dominator Case with Window

Please Help!

A 3GB R9 280 would still be good for pretty much anything at 1080p, but a 780ti or 970 is within your budget and possibly a 980 if you can find a really good deal.

I'd go for a GTX 970 4GB AMP! 1.20 Core Clock ZOTAC at $449 or $409.99 (updated, currently out of stock). Your 550W will be a bit tight though (a 600W PSU would be better). Here you have some statistics and info (1-2-3 on the common GTX 970 (so imagine what the Zotac AMP would do..).
