I recently ordered and built a gaming pc, but i can not get it working. There is no video, but GPU fan is running. There is no beep code. When I connect my keyboard, it doesn't power it. It doesn't power my wifi card. I can not shut the computer off with the front panel power button. And last but not least; there is no internal GPU on the Mobo. Can someone please help me? I'm going insane over here.

Specs:

Asus M5A97 R2.0
AMD FX6300 Black Edition
Radeon Sapphire R7 240 2Gb
Crucial Ballistix 1866Mhz 8Gb

AMD FX6300 is the PSU. The GPU does not require additional power, and i do not yet have an OS installed. I will add a photo just as soon as i can find a suitable camera.

its the os then.. that psu is fine.. you need to get an os and drop it onto a disk or a usb then change the boot order in bios if you can get that far..

check the video cables bro and reset monitor something is going fishy some where if you can even see bios.. make sure mobo is in there nice n snug and all appropriate power cords etc are attached inside

the integrated graphics and the bios are unrelated my friend.. my mobo does not have integrated on it.. if you can get the screen to kick up it usually very quickly says press F(number here) f8 f5 f9 something of that nature

I've tried several HDMI and VGA cables. Fan is running on GPU and CPU. I'm not getting any picture, so I can't see BIOS at all. No USB ports appear to be functional, as I can't connect and use a keyboard. Only time it reacted was when i put a flash drive in the flashback bios port, but that did not work either. No beep error message either, so I suspect the problem may be the mobo?

I'm going to completely strip the pc down one more time, and if that doesn't work, I will try with another mobo as soon as i can get my hands on one. Thanks for all the help so far :)

my guess your monitor/cables are jacked up and you should try some different ones... seriously if swapping the mobo did no good and you have tried all different cords and monitors.. its only one thing left bro.. swap that gpu

Edit - This is not a program error or really even a mobo issue if everything is clicking n whirring. Even with no coding or OS or bootloaders the screen should still turn on if your gpu is active and in the right slot on the mobo

Borrowed a friends comp and swapped parts, figure out that the issue was a doa cpu, replaced it and everything booted up nicely :)  Thanks for all the help, im a lot more prepared for my next build.
