Just built a new computer and everything is working fine. It's running windows 8.1. I got a TP Link TL-WDN4800 wireless adapter since my computer is two floors away from the router. My computer says that is is connected with excellent signal strength but the internet itself does not work when i try to use it. If it does work it's extremely brief (it will load like one page then no more) Any ideas? Should i buy a new wireless adapter?

TP Link adapters have had issues with Windows 8.1 update. The only fixes right now is to replace the adapter, go back to Windows 8, or wait for the new drivers to come out (it could be today - or it could be a year from now.....this has been going on for about 30+ days right now).
