Hello everyone! I decided to make a post about this after doing a full investigation as to what in the wild hell was going on with my computer, but I will start from the beginning.

I recently upgraded to a GTX 780 Ti. I like to play a game called World of Tanks. These are the only two important factors because literally EVERYTHING else works. I can run Unigine Valley at stupid max settings running for hours without a crash. Only World of Tanks application is causing the crash. I don't imagine the developer being tremendously helpful in this instance (because it could be a damn Windows issue!)

OS: Windows 8.1 (x64)
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z77

I have been receiving a number of Kernel-PnP related crashes that require restarting my computer. It took me nearly a week to break down and chase this damn problem to the source.

Event Log Descriptions:
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device SWD\WPDBUSENUM\{7e3464f1-4ab3-11e4-824f-806e6f6e6963}#0000000000100000.
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device SWD\WPDBUSENUM\_??_USBSTOR#Disk&Ven_Generic-&Prod_SM#xD-Picture&Rev_1.00#20060413092100000&1#{53f56307-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b}.

Common Factors:
Event ID: 219
Task Category: 212
User: SYSTEM

Steps Taken So Far:

Found a random "USB Mass Storage" device in Device Manager. Uninstalled it. Crashed less frequently, but still crashed. Disabled the device for now. Only one device is causing the crash now.
Chased the remaining GUID {7e3464f1-4ab3-11e4-824f-806e6f6e6963} for a device, and I traced it to my Seagate Backup Plus USB3 External drive (using Registry Editor). Disabled it for now. No more crashes.
Tried removing each of these devices in Device Manager many many times.

UPDATE!! So after running the game, now nVidia drivers are crashing. This is making me think it's just the game more and more, but I know the developer's response, and I don't stinkin' like it.

New Event: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Running latest nVidia (non-beta) drivers 344

What I think is happening: The game is causing my USB devices to randomly dismount and drivers crash sparatically.

What I need help with: What in the nine hells can I do about this?
