Can't boot windows or enter BIOS

I am using a Pentium G3258. I was happily overclocking at 4.2Ghz without issue and decided to try and up it to 4.4Ghz to see how much voltage I might need. System crashed without entering windows (understandably).

However the system freezes when I try and enter BIOS to revert to defaults and when I let it boot it remains stuck in an endless automatic repair cycle.

Have I completely screwed myself or is there something I can do to get the settings back to optimised defaults?

**I will add that sometimes I am able to get on to BIOS at different stages but it will always freeze before I can do anything.

***I will also add that windows does occasionally give me various options of repair/rebooting (none of which work). This does give me hope at least that the CPU is not completely knackered.

Thanks-

Look in your motherboard manual, it will show you where and how to reset you BIOS back to defaults. Usually you move a jumper with the computer disconnected from power. Sometimes you move the jumper with the CMOS battery out at the same time. Either way, the procedure should be detailed in you motherboard manual.

Good to hear. Now the only issue is remember all the things you changed in your BIOS. I've been in the same situation with my Core 2 Quad overclocking days. Make some adjustment and BAM won't boot, not even POST. So rest the BIOS and scratch my head for 15 minutes in the BIOS trying to remember all the settings I had for the previous stable overclock.
