So I have gotten my hands on a Turtle Beach Earforce Delta headset, and I currently have the optical connected to my TV (My gaming PC is on my TV) to hopefully listen to some 7.1 surround sound action.

What I did not foresee, which I should of, is that the TV can only output stereo, and so the headset is only outputting stereo, so my question is of this nature:

Does there exist a good USB>Optical adapter so that I may connect the optical from the headset base towards my computer so that I may achieve true, if not virtual, 7.1 surround sound in my headset?

I have done some previous research, but I would like to confirm with someone who may be knowledgeable on this area of expertise.

The items I had found from my research are as such:

http://www.amazon.com/Force-Channel-Dolby-Surround-Proc...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Am I going in the right direction to succeed in obtaining in such of what I am looking for?

Actually, my turtle beach headset has bluetooth capabilities, so if I were to get a bluetooth usb adapter, could I obtain surround sound with that?

It wouldn't be too outlandish to say you could, i would start by looking around on amazon or other internet shopping places, you could probably find something along the lines of what you need there. Or start by googling something like "best usb to optical adapter" if you get what i mean.
