An HP Envy liquid cooled, i7 4790, gtx 745, 16 gb , built in wireless at $999 or hp envy i7 4790 integrated graphics ,16gb, built in wireless, i7 4770k , gt 640, 16gb, built in wireless at 999$.

OR

If i built this myself

And what's better, i3 vs i5 ?

Would the build i would put together play Guild wars 2 and WoW and other single player games like bf4, cs:go on ultra\high?

I like your build-it-yourself (I'm biased. I made similar choices)

The four real cores in an i5 are better than the two real and two virtual cores in an i3, IF you are taking advantage of this and there is not huge price difference. I made that decision (went with i5 rather than i3) and paid a bit more for more performance.

You can look for a motherboard with built-in wireless or add it on quite cheaply.

BF4 is a beast. You want to play 1080p at ultra/high?

Look at the reviews for the GPUs you are considering and see what compromises you might have to make.

Yours for sure and that i5 is good and enough for gaming if you have the money try to go with gtx 970 and youll be able to run everything on max for like 2 years from now..gtx 760 is not a bad card but im not sure its powerful enough to run hard games like bf4 maxed :)  are u sure u need to buy win ? it can save 90 $

Yes, if you have an old machine with a WIN license you can move it to a new machine legally (in most civilized places anyway)

I have Windows 7 on my laptop, i'm not sure if i can take it off? I got the laptop from HP a long time ago. And, i mean i'm not that picky about MAXED out settings, but i am aiming for this build to run on high at least. That's why i didn't go for a 120$ more card :p . And can you show me a motherboard for my build with built in wifi, wow i didn't know you could get those. Honestly the only thing i'm nervous about buying is the MOBO.

The games i mostly play are Guild wars 1 and 2, runescape oldschool and 3, world of warcraft, and league, so the 760 would be good for these games?

It's not built-in. Many motherboards have a mini PCI-e slot that can take a $20 WiFi card. Some come with them, others you could buy and add.

This http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-wireless-network-car... will fit on your motherboard for $21

Look at the specs and reviews for the 760 and 970. Only you know what will please you.

Would the gtx 760 perform the same on games that are already out (Guild wars 1,2,rs3,wow) in 5 years if i still played the same games?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

My existing old computer uses a 9600GT and still plays the games it always did well, and some more modern games at low settings, and some very modern games as a slide-show, if at all.

When I buy a new system, I choose to go for a GPU that plays the most modern games a medium-high quality settings across the board, which will allow for good resolution and weaker effects or visa-versa.

I tend to wait a year or two for games to save money. I have COH 2, Bioshock infinite, ME3, Skyrim, and Witcher 2 waiting for my new machine. They will keep me occupied for the next year or so.

Yes. The gtx760 will do the job, dropping to 40 FPS in challenging circumstances (or worse)

The gtx 970 is about 50% better.

I wrestled with many of the same concerns as you and decided on the GTX 970, but the 760 works at a different price point.

I'd rather have a 760 and a SSD than a 970 only. (I went for both :)  )

Well 40 fps is more than comfortable gameplay, 30 is enough. thanks for the information. I'll just go witha 760. (:

Is it stupid to run without a graphics card and just integrated graphics, does that shorten the life of your cpu and build?

Is GTX 760 WAY BETTER than intel hd 4600 graphcs (integrated)?

Way better. However, for budgetary reasons, that's exactly what I'm doing at the moment.

I have a 9600GT on my current machine, and the integrated HD 4600 in my i5 4590 is significantly better!

to keep phase 1 of my budget under control, I'm going to be using that for 6 to 8 months, until I buy a sweet-spot GTX970 then.

3DMark11
9600GT is 3480
HD4600 is about the same as a GTX470 at 4670.
GTX760 is 8680
GTX970 is 15690
