I just bought an AMD R9 270x to replace my HD Radeon 7770. I uninstalled my 7770 drivers, turned the PC off, opened the case, removed the old card, replaced it with the new R9 270x, made sure it was plugged into the power supply and firmly in the PCIE slot. Plugged an HDMI cable into the cards port and into the back of my monitor (I used an HDMI card with my 7770 card as well) but nothing ever displays. I've tried multiple monitors/TVs but nothing ever displays.
Most forums I read about this issue said I need to install the new drivers for the new card ASAP, but how can I do that when I can't even see anything on the screen? The fan on the graphics card starts every time I power on the machine so it's not a power problem, right? I've had to go revert back to my 7770 and that's still working perfectly.
Anyone have any advice for me?
