Folks my home built pc will not start, not lights or fans. I jumped to the conclusion that it was the power supply and bought another one still dead. I tried following the bench it Tradesman 1 no solution. I tested the power supply by shorting the green wire to a negative and it runs. I checked the case power switch with a multi meter and it is ok. I think the motherboard is dead but I sure need your advice before I buy a new one and find it still will not run.
The pc was built in August of 2011 and has these components.
Corsair Carbide 300R, AS Rock 970x4, AMD FX8150, Cooler Master Hyper 212, Corsair Vengance 16gb DDR3 1600, Saphire HD 7750, Original power supply Silencer MK11 950 new power supply Corsair CX750. Please advise next step.
