Hmm, did you buy this PC from a store?

I think I found it: Does it look like THIS?

Are you upgrading it to play games, btw? If so, what games?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's pretty outdated. The motherboard only supports AM3 CPU's and the current line is AM3+. The power supply is only 22W. And, the case is kind of narrow. All of these things limit your ability to upgrade quite a bit.

What games do you plan on playing?

haha i knew it, i was planning to get a new desktop or build one. but was trying to see if i could switch some parts just to keep gaming for a couple more months until i have enough money to build one. im playing Warrock atm but its not running so good

Yeah, upgrading this one would be a total waste of time and money. Warrock's requirements are pretty low, but playing newer games is pretty much out of the question. If you want help picking out parts for a new PC, I'll be glad to help.

A $600 BF4 build is definitely do-able. I'll post a full parts list once I finish my CIS homework in an hour or 2.

This one is a tiny bit cheaper, but that's as low as it goes for a 280 that isn't crap.

You may want to wait until Nvidia releases the 960, as it will perform better than the 280 by a large margin and shouldn't cost much more. They've already released the 970 and 980 so it shouldn't be too long.

That 280 will perform well on Bf4 though, anyway. Paired with the i3 you should be able to play on Ultra or close to it.

Ill probably have time until the nvidia 960 comes out, as i wont start building this for a 2-3 months, if not ill just grab the 280.

Any case that has enough room and supports ATX motherboards, yes. I just picked a decent case that was inexpensive. It is ugly though, I wouldn't use it lol.

Yeah, they'll work, but I'd be wary of them since they have pretty mixed reviews. If you can save up an extra 30 or 40 bucks to buy a higher quality case, you won't regret it.

Ive read the reviews some say it was small and feels cheap lol, what other cases can you recommened with that $30-$40 increase?
