Hi
I stupidly disconnected my internal hdd from my laptop while in sleep mode. After hooking the hdd to a pc it wanted me to format the hdd. I put the hdd back into my laptop and it won't boot. Any suggestions?

put the laptop drive back int othe desktop and run a data recovery program to see if it can fix your issue.

Thanks.
The hdd has nearly 900gb being used on it. Will I need 900gb free to copy files? Or can I select individual files?

depends what wrong and if the software can fix it if it a damaged file system or mbr you wont need to copy the files off it fix the issue and the drive will work after the fix. if the drive is damaged you need space to move your personal file off the drive.

The hdd was working 100% until the power died in my laptop it seems to be just corrupted data of some sort. I don't think physical damage is an issue
