Hi. I have an Alienware M14x laptop late 2013 edition (Win 8.1 64 bit). It has a 2GB Nvidia GT 765M card. The problem started when Nvidia Experience informed me to update my driver to 344.11. After that, the laptop switched to the Intel HD 4600. After restart, I went to driver manager to find that Nvidia was missing from the display adapters. Although, they were present in Add or Remove Programs.
So I checked online and saw a couple of old threads on missing Nvidia and removed the software and drivers from Add or Remove Programs. Then proceeded to delete any and all folders in AppData, Program files and registry etc.
I downloaded the driver from Nvidia's website and tried to install it but it says "Graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". The auto detect gpu function on Nvidia's website doesnt work either and I am out of options now. Checked in Bios and "Discrete Graphics is Not Detected". There was no further option on how to enable it.
I checked the state of Graphics in Speccy, it says Enabled, Primary.
I tried multiple times to restart my system but with no luck.
Please help.
Thanks

Yes. I downloaded the same 344.11 driver. It gives the same "Graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" error. I am currently trying to install 331.65 Driver that came with the laptop but it is giving me the same error as the latest driver for 765M.
I am out of options.
