Well i have spent the best part of 4 days trying to recover a 2TB hdd data. I used easUS. The problem is, its recovered everything it seems, but all PDF in 1 folder, all .GIF in 1 folder all .JPG in 1 folder...etc.

Is there any software out there that will recover the data AS IT WAS DISPLAYED/SAVED ON THE HDD.

I had 2TB of data all organized in order. Such as..

My pictures all in 1 folder
My car pictures all in 1 folder
My kids pictures all in 1 folder
Software programs all in 1 folder
....etc...etc

The easUS as mentioned has recovered the data in a way that would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to re-organize the recovered files back in order. I have endless softwares which the recovery has split up all the image files, zip files...etc within each software and created a folder putting them all together ie... all image files, all zip files., all txt files.

Please tell me there is a software that can recover data as it displayed before being delete. In fact the data was not deleted. I accidently opened acronis and clicked 'ADD NEW DISK' to this HDD.

Help.

Feel lucky that you got all or most of it back in actual readable files.
All these file recovery tools are NOT 100%. And they do not reconstruct your original folder structure.

I would spend a little time to examine sector 0 and the boot sector(s) with a disc editor (eg DMDE freeware). This will quickly tell us what damage was done to the file system. If the damage is minimal, then a repair might be feasible. I could help you with this.

Sorry i should of mentioned, this was an external USB hard drive. (3.5"). it was never a bootable HDD and never did have windows on. I used it purely for backing up files for safe keep.

EDIT:

I have managed to recover the partition, and the file structure has recovered as it appeared. However every single file is not readable.. Ie image files wont show as a image, PDF files wont show..etc.

Every single file appears corrupted.

OK! It is really good to find most of your original drive stuffs are restored in different categories. Over the internet, you can find many data recovery software that will help rescue your data back in different categories, including the Recuva. So, if you do not really satisfy with the data recovery results, you can keep on trying another drive data recovery software, or you also can ask some data recovery agencies for help.
To avoid such troubles, never save everything important on only one drive again in the future.
