It wont matter.But I wouldn't get either of those drives, the WD one is a NAS drive. If you want a high quality hard drive get a WD black series drive

Hey Brennan. smackers_12 is right. About the WD Red drive you are looking at - it's designed for NAS and RAID systems specifically. It has been tested extensively to work in 24/7 environments making it a very reliable drive for servers, but I wouldn't recommend it for a general usage HDD in a gaming rig. For that purpose I'd recommend that you take a look at the WD Black drive, since you are looking for a 2TB model.
