I am into crypto mining and gaming and I just overclocked my cpu to 4.6GHz. Is it a good stress test if I mine crypto specifically primecoin?

The best stress test for almost any CPU would be Prime95. I have found that with Intel CPUs, passing the Benchmark in the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility basically guarantees that your CPU is stable if you also pass Prime95 and the burn test in the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. These kind of things push the CPU to the absolute limit so if it passes it then you're safe to assume it's stable.
