Low Budget Decision

Hi,

Here are my specs,
CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 560
GPU: SAPPHIRE HD 6670 1GB DDR5
RAM: 4GB DDR3

I have got a choice (budget) to upgrade one of component.
1) CPU to AMD FX6300
2) GPU TO ZOTAC NVIDIA GTX650 Synergy Edition 2 GB 128-bit DDR5 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

The price of both the components are nearly same as they are on a sale.

Please reply ASAP.

If those are the only choices, upgrade the CPU. The FX-6300, while not a tremendous upgrade, is an improvement over the Phenom II. The GPU card you have now is nearly equal to the GTX 650 so there's no point in swapping out that card. What you might really want to do, if you have a 64 bit version of windows and not a 32 bit version, is upgrade the RAM to 8GB from the 4 you have.

imho you should get FX6300. up 3 tiers.

Actually, the 650 isn't significantly better until you start using higher resolutions. I have a feeling the OP is in another country, but I could be wrong, where it's unlikely he has a really high resolution monitor. If he does have a fairly high resolution, and games are his main priority, then it would make sense. Otherwise, as we both indicated, the CPU would most likely be the upgrade that offered the best performance improvement. And actually, it would anyhow, as the Phenom II probably wouldn't do an outstanding job of keeping up with the GTX 650 anyhow.
