I've got a build currently with a AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor full build- http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/7PM8xr.
I haven't decided yet and was wondering which was better the Intel or AMD and if intel which processor?

I was looking at the 120-$200 range

More about : intel core 4130 amd 6300 cpu

Intel is better, AMD AM3+ platform is dead, FX 6 can't compete with i3 w/o OCing, which requires an af cooler, your MoBo can't handle FX 8 if you plan to upgrade, whereas i3 costs $125 and paired with a $85 MoBo it can defeat FX 6 with ease, in gaming. Doesn't need an af cooler and you can put an i5 or Xeon or i7 later down the road when you plan to upgrade. Also, the PSU you selected is extremely high quality but of little need for the current build. Modified, stronger, more power efficient, more value/money build:

This is one of those rare cases where I'd suggest the AMD with a huge caveat. The AMD is probably a better investment in the very short-term. If you're planning on keeping this computer for anything more than two years, I'd suggest going Intel.
