Can you flash a Asus Z97-C with the Asus Z97-A Bios? I'm asking because the -A motherboard supports Sli while the -C does not, I was wondering if there was a slight chance that the similarity of the boards would allow the BIOS to be reflashed and contain Nvidia's Sli certification for running Sli without using something like HyperSli

No, Z97-C does not support SLI due to physical reason, not software bound. The basic need for SLI is x8/x8 bandwidth support, whereas C can only deliver x8/x4, which's fine for CF standards, but not for SLI. And, DO NOT flash a BIOS of any other model MoBo on your own MoBo.

would HyperSli be worth an attempt?

IMO, no. Atleast not by flashing another MoBo's BIOS.
