I am just curious with the Galaxy GeForce GTX 970 4gb GPU and the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4gb GPU. What's the difference? Why is the Galaxy version $419 and the Gigabyte version $519?
Thanks in advance.

In terms of performance, there barely is any difference. The main difference is the cooling soultion, and quality. I believe the Gigabyte is of higher quality, and should allow you to overclock the card more. It may be quieter too.

So if I made sure a had plenty of fans in the build there shouldn't be any difference. And will I be able to overclock?

You don't need a lot of fans to cool your PC.

Here's my case's config

2 Intake
- 1 Noctua 140mm fan ( I forgot the model no. )
- 1 front Corsair 120AF

1 Exhaust
- 1 rear Corsair 120AF

I live in a tropical country where it's usually 30c + and my PC is stays at around 40c during games.

You don't really need to overclock the GTX 970. It won't make a big difference in games. You can overclock both cards but there's a max on how much you can OC. You can adjust the voltage to push the limits, but I don't recommend it.
