Need help to decide the amount of thermal paste

first time using 3rd party cpu cooler and noctua said about 4 to 5mm diameter of thermal paste. So, im still worry is not enough.

Note: sorry for the photo link problem.

Its a bit too less, put a pea sized drop and spread evenly over the surface.
It should be around this much:
apply_1.jpg
After spreading it should be like this:
e5200-tuniq-tx2-applied1.jpg

Imagine the CPU as a valuable bread slice which you're preparing for a king, you've got a spoonful of jelly, so you must utilize it all and spread it evenly :)

:) thank you for ur quick reply but i wanted to ask since i just apply the thermal paste yesterday night and was late night so i went to sleep without power supply. so i assume the paste is not dry yet which i can just lift up the cooler n add some thermal paste without cleaning n reapply again?

Ok. Im still newbie in this thermal paste stuff. So anything that i can grab easiky to clean it?? I will post a new photo later once im off work. Please bear with me if u can ><.

Wow very helpful guide with step by step. Thank you so much. I probably will use the line method n spread it out to both sides to cover the whole cpu. If u dont mind, i will update u once im done with reapply.
