scyther kabuto 2 cooler, any 1 know of these coolers? i have now a i7 870 but soon im geting a i7 4790k and i was wondering if i should keep this cooler or get a new one? im thinking of doing some oc with this new cpu.
i live in japan so it may not be as easy to find american brand coolers and im not so confortable buying from outside too.
so...stick with this kabuto 2 or use the stock one and get a new cooler and oc?

It's a decent cooler, but not a real strong performer when it comes to staying cool on overclocks. Where it shines is that it's extremely quiet. If you plan to go for mid to high level overclocks you might want a stronger performer but other than a handful of coolers including most of the Noctua lineup, it's hard to beat it for sound. It IS however a good cooler for boards where the main problems lie with the VRMs since it's a downdraft cooler it helps keep the board somewhat cool as a result of blowing directly towards the motherboard.

It's definitely much better than ANY stock cooler unless the stock cooler is a liquid cooler.
