These the build is compatible. However you wouldn't need a 2400MHz RAM if you are gaming as a 1866MHz will do too. So some money could be saved there.

Do you have a case?

If you will overclock then you will need a better motherboard and a CPU cooler. Other than that, that is a solid build.

Just get cheaper 1600Mhz RAM. The difference won't be noticeable. With the money saved, try to get a faster processor FX-8350.

Maybe consider this build. It is above $600 but with a much better graphics card (able to maxed out most games). And if you want to overclock in the future, then slap on a CPU cooler.

Overclocking doesn't cost money, but your board, power and cooling has to allow for it.

Nothing there I would change then. Solid build mate.

No if it is only for gaming, but I had rather get a 1866MHz instead. Wouldn't cause any FPS difference though in games.

the difference between 1866mhz ram and 2400mhz ram is only $10 difference should i stick with 2400mhz one?

No. But if you can get 2400Mhz for close to the same price, might as well get that.

Upon installation they may not operate at full 2400Mhz. If thats the case you will have to set it in the BIOS.

$10 isn't much. But your motherboard must be able to support it. Some motherboards require the user to overclock the RAM to make it compatible or it may just run a 1600MHz instead of 2400MHz.

For your motherboard the official Asus website says you will need to overclock the RAM. SO if you want 2400MHz,you will need to overclock. Check out the specs of your mothebriad on the Asus website.

For a budget build does your own look good to me.You could save a little by going for the non "X" version of that gpu and overclock it yourself, this one,
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr...
if i'm right is it cheaper.A topic about it and it's overclocking capabilities,
http://www.overclock.net/t/1449757/gigabyte-r9-270-over...

You,imo, could better go for this motherboard since you're not going to use an ssd,
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga...
this has no sata 3 ports, but has some overclocking capability.

It would be nice to have some prices with those parts,it makes it easier to compare in the partpicker. The psu is probably an item which could be gotten cheaper, but i can't say for sure.Just like with that gpu above.

That ram btw will start at it's spd speed which probably is either 1333 or 1600mhz,my thoughts are the latter.

Don't mention that!

Read the last part of my previous post for the ram.You could also set things manually if necessary.

A fine choice too and has those sata 3 ports so a maybe added ssd wouldn't be bottleneckt. Also has some overclocking capabilities.

Great. You can get a 1866MHz RAM. Don't forget about the shipping price though. And the 970 Chipset may require a BIOS update. Which isn't bad though and there are tutorials to assist you out.

ahh i just want to find a motherboard where i can just throw it in can handle cpu and ram that i linked and can be overclocked later on when i got better cooler and stuff im so sick of looking then failing because somethings wrong like i have to overclock somthing to use ram idek

Even that 2400mhz ram would work,it only would work on a lower speed, first the spd speed and maybe you could set it manually higher.See how far a bit of overclocking on the ram would do.According to the specs (motherboard) would 2000mhz (o.c.) be possible.
The cpu will need to support that too btw,the memory controller might (and probably will) become a limit too.Just get what's priced right.

You don't have to do that,as i said will it start at probably 1600mhz,maybe 1333mhz,but it will run.It should anyway. To get to 1866 you would have to change things, but the system would/should start with that ram, just not at that rated speed.

You will need to tweak the settings in BIOS. It will just run at lower speed if you don't tweak it.

Most legit would be to buy one,or at least a key and download an official copy.
