Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P no sound

I've recently purschased Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherbord, and after I installed all given drivers from CD i still havent got any sound, and Windows device manager doesnt even recongnize sound card, or anything similar..them i uninstalled drivers and downloaded newest realtek drivers from gigabyte website and nothing has changed, I stil dont have sound..could you please help me, thank you

If it can't even detect an audio device then the audio chip on the board is probably dead. Get it replaced or refund.

are you sure yoou are downloading the right drivers for your windows OS? (i assume you are using windows)

reinstall windows/refresh windows or use CCleaner and clean temp files and registry! make sure you dont have drivers that are conflicting with one another (uninstall all sound drivers)
