I have a 3 monitor setup in a way- i have 2 24" monitors on a VESA mount, and a TV up on the wall. I only turn the TV on when I want to put something like a movie up there, otherwise i only use the 2 24's. The issue I have, is that when my PC boots, no matter which slot in the video card I put the TV on, that is the "monitor" the system chooses to do all it's displaying on. So, when my PC boots and asks if I want to start normally, or the bios splash screen or any of that shows up, it is attempted to be displayed on the TV, which is turned off, until Windows has fully booted at which time display moves to my right monitor, which is the primary set in windows. The first display of any kind I see is a windows login screen. Even the Windows 7 boot splash shows up on the TV, if it's on. I keep the TV disabled entirely in Windows when I'm not using it. Is there some way to make it so my TV is just... invisible to my PC when it is booting, until such time I have need of it?

Parts that I think matter:
GPU: EVGA GeForce 650 Ti 2GB
MB: AsRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer
Displays: 2 Asus VS247, 1 Vizio 27" TV

Solution
That is not possible unless you disconnect it or have it turned off.

If you want the splash screen on the monitor just re-arrange your displays order, having the preferred monitor first.
