Hello,
I am about to build a new system on x99 platform and using DDR4. The MoBo will most likely be an Asus ROG (with 8 memory slots) and since the i7-5960X CPU supports a maximum of 64GB RAM, I am looking for 64GB DDR4 kits. At this date I can't find any on the market, so I was wondering what are the risks involved in using two 32GB DDR4 memory kits in order to reach the 64GB threshold? Would they be compatible? How to make them compatible?
I am going to OC the hell out of that CPU so what problems might appear and what to look for if using 2 x 32BG memory kits?
Please refrain to issues regarding only the memory/CPU and do not digress from the point.
Thank you.

I managed to find two. Here you go. http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/memory/#Z=65536004,655360...
They are ECC so my guess is they are server memory. And by clicking on "compatible motherboards" for those 2, it shows no products.

Sorry been tied up, but I got a reply from GSkill, they are targeting for November 'but can't guarantee', am guessing it will be like the early high end Trident sets that came out in 2800 and up, and the early 4GB sets of DDR3, the supply will be limited as it's so hard to match up 8 sticks that all play nice

It would be enough to match only 4 of those together.
