Keep losing internet

Hey folks. I woke up this morning to find a yellow triangle in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop next to my internet, and no internet service. I tried unplugging and plugging back in both the router and modem and restarting and all the simple stuff like that. At one point after restarting it finally worked no problem, and I went back to what I was doing the day before.

20 minutes later, I lost service yet again, and again popped up the yellow triangle. I yet again unplugged/plugged back in/rebooted everything and such and nothing worked.

Then I tried doing the ipconfig /renew and /release and /flush dns and all that, but it kept getting stuck on /renew. After a long pause it'd tell me it couldn't connect to my DHCP (did i get that right?) server and it timed out. I also did the catalogue(?) releases that I found in a step by step which didn't give me trouble.

So after timing out again and again on renew, I just rebooted and now my internet seems to work again.

However I'm typing all this out because I fear I'll lose internet connection in 10-30 mins again and I'd rather have this question posted now and using my keyboard rather than typing it all out on the phone. Not sure what's going on but if anyone knows how to check that everything is running fine, and what to do IF i lost connection yet again (pretty sure i will), please let me know!
