Hey guys, I have upgraded my rig to a msi h85- g43 and a g3220 and a Kingston hyperx 8gb but I cant seem to boot in windows 7 and its showing BSOD even at safe mode. I tried my other hdd with win 8 and it worked fine. I really need to boot this hdd cause my main works are on the win 7 one.

Solution
If you want to back up your information, its better to boot from Linux Live cd/dvd.. Then you can back up all your important information.
And also, while in BSOD, you can check for the error code and google that. Thus you will get the exact reason for BSOD.
Bt to back up, your file, linux live is the better and fastest way...

BSOD can be of many reasons, we cannot pin point the exact cause of system failure unless we get an error code (something like 0X00000C). Could be because of bad memory addressing, CPU over heating, HDD read/write error or can even be an issue with hardware drivers.

Then if no data is there, can you try formating the hdd, with new partition?
