Hello, I've been searching stuffs on google on how to fix my certain problem but I can't seem to find the answer.

Here's my specs:http://

I also run it on GeForce GT62M and it's been 1 year since I've bought it.

Now to brief the main issue.

Whenever I play games I usually get bad fps (20-35 fps), considering my specifications I don't think I would have such fps. Also, I've changed my nvidia and intel settings to maximum performance, I've also disabled Windows aero, and changed it to maximum performance as well. I also open up my laptop monthly and clean all the dust using a dust pan, i blow em away for about 30 minutes.

Now here's the twist, whenever I clumsily bump my laptop unto the wall or something else. My laptop would make loud noises, I think it's the fan. So I pay no heed unto it and continue the usage of my laptop. But then I noticed that whenever my laptop make noises, I can play games with a great fps. I get 120-200 fps on certain games. Since I don't want to bump my laptop everytime on the wall. I wonder what's the possible fix on the certain problem.

If there's something unclear, please point it out. I'm getting frustated since I also use my laptop for work purposes (i.e rendering, ps)

Thanks for your help.

What resolution is your monitor?
What games do you get those FPS in? BE SPECIFIC.
What settings do you have those games set to? BE SPECIFIC.

I have 1366 by 768 resolution.
What games? It's almost all games, minecraft, league of legends, pso2, grand chase, goat simulator, terraria.
And what settings, I all run it on medium settings. If it lags really badly, I run it on low settings.

Again.

Match the FPS to the games.

For example, I get average 40FPS in mincraft on medium.
Or I get 20FPS in Terraria on high.

It sounds to me like your fan is freezing up - not turning at all at timesl. When your laptop is quiet, the fan isn't turning, the processor overheats and throttles, and you get bad FPS. When you bump your laptop, the fan runs, although noisily, the CPU cools off, runs at full speed, and your FPS goes back up. You need to try to verify if you fan is running at all when the laptop is quiet. Just a theory...
