What do you think of this build?

A friend of mine ask if I can build a new powerful rig for him.
He is not going to:
- OC
- SLI
- use the iGPU of an i7
He games a lot, edits videos once in a while, draws things on AutoCAD.
His budget is about €1400-€1500

I have this idea after doing some search on mindfactory.de:
E3-1231V3
ASUS Z97 Mark 2 (I wanted to get H97-pro gamer but that one is on sale and has the same price of H97-pro gamer. Plus, the mark 2 comes with a free Echelon headphone and Watch Dogs game for a limited time)
Crucial Ballistic Tactical DDR3 1600 CL8
MSI GTX 970 4G (on special sale)
XFX 750W XXX Edition (on special sale)
Samsung 500GB EVO
BeQuite! Shadow Rock Slim
Fractal Design Define R4 (with an extra Fractal silent series 120mm fan for free, he said he must have this case)
2x Fractal silent series R2 140mm
Seagate 7200.14 3TB (I have this one since 2-3 years already, I think I can trust this)
LG BlueRay+DVD+CD burner (I have this one since 2-3 years already, I think I can trust this)

I think that rig should be a about the same performance level as my i7 3770k rig, no?
What do you think?

P.S.
He said that I could keep the free stuffs :)

Solution
Drop the SSD get one that is 250GB instead. One 120mm fan will be sufficient, blowing across the CPU. There's no need for more - I have the same case. I would go with an i7 4790K instead of the Xeon. Everything else is good.

Solution
@Night Owl: 5930k+X99+DDR4 is only luxury at the moment. No need to go this high.

@ICaraeus:
He wants to put his games on the SSD, 250GB could be too small.
hmmm...getting an i7 4790k even not for OC but to get the higher stock freq? I will talk to him if he can pump the budget a bit. I do not think adding further €70-80 will hurt much.
Ah..ok..my BitFenix Ghost is a little bit warm without the extra 2 fans I built and I thought Fractal Design Define R4 would be similar, since they look somehow similar.
The 2 fans for the Define 4 cost only €10 each..hmm...I will not add them now then..I can add them later if the case is warm :)

That is a good build, and will do well for your friend.
