videos pause if i switch tabs on chrome.

k for some reason if a have a video up and i have 2 tabs open on chrome, and i switch tabs the video lags for a second. so for example if i have tab 1 open and a video is playing and i click on tab 2 the tab 1 video pauses for a split second. can anyone help me?

This is normal, making new tabs or changing between them often has a small period of lag.

even if i have 1 tab open and a video is playing and i click the the top of the tab it lags. why is this? i have a 4690k. do i have a messed up windows or something?

no, same problem with all of my desktop and laptops, as well as pretty much everyone else.

It's the chrome application itself that's the issue, certainly not the hardware.

yep, exactly the same. It is not the same for everyone, it depends on their application also (safari/internet explorer/chrome/firefox ect.)
