Jw what card I should get, I have some extra money, and my other components are about the best for my needs. I bought my 770 when it first came out for around $410 bucks, but now I'm getting more into high demanding FPS games, so my 770 is starting to lack. I also just bought a 1440p monitor and a 4k T.V because a store had a going out of business sale and I couldn't pass them up. So I'll be playing on the 1440p monitor though. I don't really have a set price yet. Just want something that will work well. I also use windows 7

for 320 dollars a gtx 970 performs like 780 sometimes like a 780ti or for 549 dollars you can get a gtx 980 which is currently the best single gpu card out there
although if you find a gtx 770 for under 3 the price of the 970 you can buy another 770 and sli them

Update just found another a 770 for 275 dollars and in sli the perform better than a 970 or 980 since you already have another 770

The equivalent newest card from nVidia would be the 970. It replaces the 770 on it's price range but is better in every conceivable way. If you're gonna sell your 770 AND have got some extra cash going around, I'd recommend the 980.
It's powerful, efficient, not-so-expensive and will support the upcoming DirectX 12 API.
Hope this helps!
