Solution
Vram does not mean faster - this is a misconception that is confusing people
More Vram = Higher quality @ higher Resolutions

GPU, VRam Speed, Bus Speed, Firmware Drivers, Display

A 1 Gig 750Mhz GPU with ddr5 Vram will out preform a 4 gig 600 Mhz with ddr3 VRam
Being ignorant of this is your loss.

A newer Card with updated firmware may be more user friendly with newer games than older technology and also provide more features. not necessarily more speed just because is has double the Vram.

I have not looked directly at the specs of these 2 cards you have listed. so wont advise of the better card for you... you can work that out... this post is mainly for the ignorant Vrammers. ;P

Thnx but i think that the 270x would be waste. My monitor is only 720p

I agree the 7850 is old and the one he is wanting has 1gb of VRAM. Over some cases the GPU that has less VRAM will lag in cases while the newer card with 2gb won't. That is why they recommend moreVRAM for games that have more eye candy.

Ah, I forgot he is at 720P, VRAM is for higher resolutions. The 7850, although older, outperforms the r7 260x. Since you are at 720P, 1GB is for you as you cannot go past that to 1080p. I would recommend getting a new monitor in the future .

As stated above that you for helpful information, but VRAM issues, it is important "Vram does not mean faster - this is a misconception that is confusing people

I didn't mean it was faster, I meant it would allow him to get higher qualities. I never said that it would make the game run faster, just that it would run smoother since he has more VRAM that can process objects easier in the game.
