Alright, so I recently decided to install League of Legends on my laptop and all the matches go this way: First few minutes it goes fine and after that, there will be slight fps drops, and the game's performance seems to degrade as the game progresses. The fps drops usually happen when a teamfight breaks outs, I die or when I click the mini map the see other areas. When I open the shop and buy items the fps drops too, but this happens throughout the game. I never had this problem with LoL on my other computers. I checked my CPU usage and it always spiked when I had an fps drop. I checked its temperature and it was pretty high at 65 Celsius. I used a camera lens cleaner to blow air into my vents( I don't have a can of compressed air) and it seemed to make the fps drops happen less often but dosent eliminate it entirely. The weird thing is, my other games Battlefield 3, Hearthstone and COD WaW don't seem to be affected by the overheating. Can anyone give me a fix for this? (I can't figure out how to open my laptop to clean the fan so if you guys could give me a link to a video or walkthrough that'll be great. My laptop is a Asus X550D

Solution
League is very heavy on your cpu while the other games are heavier on the gpu. Try maxing the settings on league, it will put more stress on the gpu rather then the cpu.
