Any improvements needed for this build?

Everything looks good to me, but I would probably get a better graphics card, perhaps a 770? If you're talking about 'serious' gaming, then a 760 might not be able to keep up in the next couple of years. In fact, it can only run most games at medium-high settings. That may seem high, but to me 'serious gaming' is on high/ultra high settings, which a GTX 770 can handle (on 1 screen that is).

If you are really pushing it, another 8Gb of RAM (For extreme video editing, as you say) wouldn't hurt, (only consider this if you get a better graphics card) but I guess there is the budget to consider too.
