Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded from a laptop to a desktop Gaming PC, and I'm having some trouble setting up FSX correctly. I'm playing this game for a while already and I love playing it, but I'm getting very bad performance (when I'm flying the PMDG 737-800 at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, I get about 8/9FPS which is just impossible to play with, on my laptop I had about 6/7FPS in the same situation), and the traffic is set to off. I'm also noticing that when i'm flying near the ground with a jet or other fast plane, the textures load really slow, I mean like it stays blurry for a while and after that the detail returns. I really don't know why it's this slow.. My specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU q6600 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (using the latest drivers)
6 GB RAM memory
OS: Windows 8.1
Mobo ASUS P5N-E SLI

I really hope someone can help me out. If it's the OS, I am able to downgrade to Windows 7.
