Hello. I'm building my new pc for movie watching, gaming etc. So I wanted to ask could anyone suggest a monitor? I usually tend to play FPS games and mmos. My budget is no more than 350$ (if it's worth can be up to 400$). :)  If you need any other info just ask :)

I personally did not need the additional switch for the monitor and ended up saving money on getting the benq xl2411z which is the identical panel with 144hz, 1ms, and Blur Reduction Technology and love it. Just doesn't come with the switch to pick different profiles on the fly which doesn't bother me any....

So, thank you for the suggestions ;)  But I think that's a little too hardcore for me :D  I was looking through the monitors online and found this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Any thoughts on this one? :)  Really like the design of this one :)

That is also a great choice of monitor and of course less hardcore. Design is a key factor when choosing a monitor, and also price, and that monitor is great value.

Well, personally I never saw a monitor with more than 60Hz in action. So can't tell what the difference is :D . But I always had a 60Hz and im happy with it :)

I was always happy with 60hz myself until I saw what 144hz looked like. Its like being happy with a standard Hard Drive until you get an SSD. Once you upgrade you can't go back.
