My CPU is an i7-3770, which I'm pretty sure supports the technology. My motherboard, however, is the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H and I'm not sure where to look or how to find out if it supports this functionality. I was wondering if anybody could help me with this.

Looking at Intel's webpages it looks like a CPU only thing. I don't see any requirements for specific motherboard chipsets. There is probably a BIOS setting to enable, but with a Z77 motherboard I don't think you will have an issue.

How would I go about enabling it? I tried using VirtualBox but it says I don't have the option enabled.

Did you look in the BIOS? Look for Intel Virtualization Tech. You may get VT but not VT-D

I did look in the bios, and there are two options under Fastboot: 'VT-d' and 'Intel Virtualization Technology'. I enabled them both but I'm still getting the error.

The settings are all enabled; I even turned fastboot off. But it still doesn't work. I don't know what to do.
