Hello!

I've just moved into a new student hostel. They built up both wireless and wired connection. As a gamer, my pc is on wired connection, but sometimes I got 1-2 packetloss, that makes me disconnecting from server. My roommate also has those (he is on wired connection aswell), but its not that "visible" if you are not playing, since its 1-2 second without internet, but it makes you disconnect from games.

There are basicly 2 big switches that distribute the internet between places, and there are some small wifi access point to provide wireless network.

Do you know have any suggestion for this?
This might be a bad idea, but can I "hedge" the packet losses with the wireless network?

The network might be a bit overwhelmed (~32 ppl on the internet, sigh..) so that can be a problem too. In that case, does another internet connection to the building could solve this traffic problem? (so basicly instead of 1*60/10 Mb internet, it would have 2*60/10 Mb in differnet parts of the building).

Sorry for the unprofessional description (I'm just a user, not the administrator), say if you need more information. Thanks for help in advance.

Edit1: I have Windows 7 Operating system & normal pc. My roommate got Win8 with same problem.
