Hey all, I just got a new headset due to my old pair failing. And they need their own drivers, should i uninstall the mobo drivers before installing them? Or would it be ok with both?

If you uninstall your MoBo drivers, your system won't have any sound recognition source, don't do that. Just plug in the headsets, and update it's drivers to the latest.

Well that's the reason I asked, because my mobo has it's normal drivers then it's own set of Realtek hd audio drivers. Which are used for the audio jack, to which my new headset doesn't use. It uses a usb connector.

Its fine, the headest will install the drivers automatically, just make sure it gets updated to the latest drivers. Its much like a USB stick installing its drivers.
