I just started using the ethernet in my dorm room yesterday. It was working fine last night, but today it doesn't work, and when I diagnose the problem I get "Local Area Connection doesn't have a valid IP Configuration"

After looking up the problem on google, I tried a couple suggestions, including reseting the IP and going to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing -> Change Adapter Settings -> Local Area Connection Properties -> Internet Protocol version 4 properties and changing some of the settings.

Nothing seems to have worked, though. Here is my ipconfig /all

The problem seems to have fixed itself, because it's working now... I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind if it ever does this again though. Thanks for the help!
