i know my computer has 2 graphics cards amd hd 8750m and intel graphics card. i have recently purchased the hp probook 450 g1 and when i right click on the desktop i cant find configure switchable graphics. i have performed a search of my computer and nothing comes up. i went to the catalyst control center the only option is hydravision. i have looked throughout CCC and cannot find any option for switching the graphics card. i have read many of the posts and none seem to refer to my issue. if the amd graphics card is better can i just switch the card that gets used manually? i have updated the CCC and it didnt change anything. if i disable the intel graphics will it automatically switch to the amd graphics? please help.

Solution
You need to change the settings in the BIOS. The default graphics card settings are not available within windows. In the BIOS should be an option for changing to PCI, PEG for your AMD based card or whatever setting is not the integrated (iGPU) graphics.
