Is there a way to get unofficial images to fit onto multiple 1.44MB floppy Disks instead of those DMF 1.7MB Floppy Disks? I have an old laptop that i wanted to mess around with, but using floppy disks is the only way to transfer media to the hard drive. Problem is, I have only 1.44MB floppies, and quite frankly, it's not worth it to scour the internet to find the special install disks, so is there a way? Can I make them into compressed files to fit onto the drive and then install it by folder or something? I would like to figure this out. Just for fun, not urgent, but faster is better.

Can I split a zip file to multiple files and move them one by one and then extract all of them to one folder? Or is there not a program in DOS like that?
