Hi,

I'm having troubles with Skype lowering my music volume (specifically playing from iTunes) when it starts a call, so manually I have to adjust the volume mixer's sliders.

I am using Windows 8.1, some of you may ask why I use iTunes, but it's because of iPod, so I've got all my music stored on iTunes anyways, might as well use that.

I've already checked the box "do nothing" in the communications tab.
So this method won't work:
1. You need to go to the Control Panel
2. Select Hardware and Sound
3. Select Sound
4. Select the tab Communications
5. From here, you are able to select your preferred corse of action when Windows detect a communication.
Alternatives are:

1. Mute all other sound
2. Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%
3. Reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%
4. Do nothing "

That's the one I've been trying already and doesn't work unfortunately for me. I'm also using the Skype app that's automatically installed on Windows 8.1, and not the desktop version.

If anyone could solve this problem for me, I'd be really grateful!
