Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks in advance for all your help/advice! My temps feel higher than they should be especially since I am running a liquid cpu cooler. Here are the specs

CPU: i7 860 @ 3.69GHz (175 x 21) 1.28V
Motherboard: Asus P7P55D
Memory: 2 x 4GB G.Skill DDR3-1600 @ 1750MHz 1.525V
Cooler: Corsair H80i

Here are the temps on idle and 100% load via Prime95:

Any ideas why the temps are so high considering my OC and voltages aren't that high (I'm comparing to others who have OC'd to over 4GHz with 1.35V)? Any suggestions on how I can further push more out of this rig? I'm a little concerned about going over 70°C. Also Why is one core's temp so much lower than others? Do you think it was my fault during mounting of the cooler? Thanks!!

When your temps hit 70 is that while gaming or while stress testing. Also when was the last time you cleaned the rad and fans or re applied thermal paste. What were your temps before? If those temps are under a stress test they aren't that bad considering you have almost 1ghz oc. Did you disable the turbo clock?

That's while stress testing. The H80i was recently purchased and had pre-applied thermal paste. Before the H80i the temps were roughly the same except it was at a lower clock (I think it was around 3.2GHz). I also disabled turboclock, speedstep, etc. so all the cores are always on and the multiplier stays at 21.
