Would that be Double Data Rate (DDR)?

What does your BIOS say your ram speed is? Only trust BIOS figures as that is core system fed data.

Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer our assistance. Like Calvin7 mentioned, most monitoring software like CPU-Z will show the Single Data Rate. DDR memory is Double Data Rate so you would just need to multiple 936x2 which would give you 1872MHz. At that speed the memory is actually going a little faster than it should. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for choosing HyperX.

Okay all, thanks a lot it seems that it is my DDR rate as i have just not timed it by two like Kingston has mentioned and thanks for the over comments!!
