Gtx 770
Fx 8320
8gb

On skyrim I usually get 60 fps. Sometimes below 50. Minimum 35. This seems a bit low is this normal?

Probably being held back by the CPU. Skyrim only uses a couple of cores and benefits from fast cores, which is an area than the FX series cpu's fall way behind Intel. You should be able to increase performance by overclocking the cpu. Also of you are using a 760g chipset check your cpu frequencies while gaming, they have been known to throttle the 8 core fx cpus when under load(even when only a couple of cores are under load).

its low for a card like gtx 770 if you play at 1080p.

An Intel i5-4690k or i7-4790k clocked at 4.0 GHz or faster should bulldoze through any game. The game performance also depends on how many mods you have installed. Skyrim heavily-modded will need at least 3 GB of video RAM to run it smoothly. Try running the game without mods and see if it performs to your expectations.

I haven't oc'd yet, but wouldn't it be unimportant if skyrim uses less threads , cores and whatnot when comparing a fx 6350 ?

And the documented CPU ^ is oc'd and were those benchmarks done on highest settings?

yes thats why i have asked you if you have oced the CPU or not .
try ocing the CPU fx series are good for overclocking.

fx 8350 is not worse than fx 6350 actually its the opposite OC your CPU to 4.5 depending what board and cpu cooler you are having.
