When I first got my laptop (Toshiba Satellite Click W35Dt-A3300) and set my password, the password wouldn't work ten minutes later. It must have just been excitement at the time, but I was able to circumvent the issue by setting up a PIN password (Windows 8.1 OS) and accessing my computer using that instead. Attempts to sync my computer profile with my Windows account to change the password didn't work, so it's still impossible to access parts of my computer where I need the original password. This wouldn't be much of an issue, but I had set the boot conditions of the msconfig menu to minimal Safe Mode, which disables signing in by way of PIN. I am now locked out of my computer. I need a way to circumvent the use of a password, or a way to access command prompt / normal boot windows BEFORE an account log-in screen. Does anyone know anything at all that could be of use?

Sorry, but we can't help bypass security measures. We have no means to verify ownership of the system in question.

Contact Toshiba for help and be prepared to provide proof of ownership.
