Alright so heres the whole story:
One of our clients' machines, an HP Compaq dx2250 running XP, was having virus problems. So we took it back, cleaned it up, put Win 7 on it and loaded updates, etc. However, this PC had a Radeon 9000 dual VGA card in it, and was running two monitors: one for desktop, other for email. So, when I was installing it, I noticed that it was only running off of integrated VGA. I uninstalled the default VGA driver, then rebooted, went into BIOS, and set init display device to PCI. Then, I pressed the power button, and it does not do anything. No POST, no BIOS splashscreen, nothing. I reset the CMOS battery, same problem. I tried different PCI slots for the card, same problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks

Well does the pc have pci-e for the gpu? If it does and you set it to pci instead of pcie then that could explain a lot. Can you still get into the bios? I would try removing the card and using the integrated gpu and changing the bios settings to pcie and try to get the card up and running again.
