Mini ITX vs. Medium Tower

I don't know whether I should go for a Mini ITX portable build or a Medium Tower non-portable build. Here are the specs for both of them:

The fusion build will perform better by far. Better CPU and GPU. I would dump the case down more though and go for a better GPU even, if $1000 is your budget, don't put more than $50 on the case. The case doesn't impact gaming at all, so on a budget, skimp on it.

I love ITX cases.
But... how much do you want portability, like for lan parties.
Or, to put on a desktop or where you have limited space?

From a performance point of view, they are somewhat comparable, with the fusion being slightly stronger as a gamer.

If budget is an issue, I think you can find comparable cases for less.

Either psu may well limit your future graphics card upgrade capability.
And... Corsair CX is only a fair budget quality psu.
